In the current essay I will identify a safety training need in the organization. I will also develop performance-based objectives on which the training program should be based. In the modern world health and safety have become indispensable components in the organization that have to be solved. To start with, it can be said that the safety training is extremely important in the organization, especially nowadays. Employees have to be protected from different factors at the work place. Safety and health of the workers are extremely important, as this fact leads to the further success of the company. Safety and health trainings are the key factors that will help to maintain the organization on top and make it forget about these problems. Safety and health trainings help to protect employees from injury and illness and the organization from the high costs of non-compliance, according to Health and safety training (2010).
Performance-based objectives on which the training program should be based are useful information, availability of consultations, new approaches and direct interaction with the employees. It should be noted that there are certain solutions of the safety training that will help to transform the workplace safety culture in the organization. Education process of the safety and health and interaction directly with trainees will lead to the positive outcome. “Over 200 people are killed each year in accidents at work and over one million people are injured. Over two million suffer illnesses caused by, or made worse by, their work, which can be prevented”, according to Health and safety training (2010).
All in all, it can be said that business performance will be improved if the safety and health issues in the organization are ensured. Each organization has to take safety and health trainings into consideration, as it will benefit in the future. Providing safety information will solve many problems and prevent many challenges connected with the issues of safety and health.
